SPEE is playable natively for Windows PC as it is an RPGMaker2003 game.
But there is a open source project called EasyRPG that essentially allows running RPGMaker2003 games to other platforms!
It's available on Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, and various handheld consoles like the Nintendo Switch. There's even a web-based version.
I have tested the android version, and it worked well, but had various weird behaviors.
Keep in mind SPEE might not run perfectly on it.
The updated version of SPEE has better support for the EasyRPG Player.
Launcher
This fixes an issue which has been plauging the launcher, where it did not support HTTPS links.
The new updated launcher should now work perfectly.
Your current(old) launcher will likely be unable to update the game, and you'll need to update to the new launcher and transfer your save files over.
