[SPEE] Full Game Available Now!

I'm so excited to announce that Super Pokemon Eevee Edition is finally available as a full release! It's been a long and exciting journey, and I'm so grateful for the enduring excitement around the game's releases for years.

The project initially started during my summer break when I was in university. It began as an experimental project about hunting monsters using RPG Maker 2003. It was just a basic side project of random ideas, but what completely redefined the project was the the Eevee switching mechanic. Once I added that to the game, I knew I had something special.

From there, the game evolved into something truly unique. I drew inspiration from a wide variety of sources, including Final Fantasy for the battle system and music, the beloved generation 2 Pokemon games for the world design and exploration, and Metal Gear Solid, which served as a subtle inspiration for the story and meta elements of the game.

I released the first demo not knowing it would become such an insane journey. I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the fans who have been supporting this project since the beginning. Without your support, Super Pokemon Eevee Edition would not have been possible. I hope you all enjoy playing the game as much as I enjoyed creating it.

So, Version 1.012 is now out, which contains the full story and additional bug fixes. Honestly, this won't be the end of the journey. I have plans for more postgame content, and more polishing and stuff, but the game as it is. I am satisfied to call it a finished product.

Finally, a new Mystery Gift is available which contains this Starter Pack of items:
    • Instant Accelerant - Equip to always start a battle with full action bar.
    • Shiny Data - Use to turn one of your Pokemon shiny.
    • 3x Rare Candy - Increases a Pokémon's level by 1.
    • 8x Summon Stone - Allows Eevee to use the Summon command.

  2. I cannot believe my eyes. I have been legitimately checking this website once a day ever since the last update (that's right, been doing it for more than 3 years) and now it's finally here. What a journey this has been. Thank you so much for not giving up on the game unlike most fangame devs usually do and seeing it through to the end instead.

  8. Linux version anytime soon? RPGMaker recently can build them natively. Tried running it through Wine but it wouldn't successfully launch.

  14. The game does not work on fullscreen. It works a few moments then the screen turn in black, the game sound still working and the game itself, but with no image, please fix it or tell me what I must do to fix it, I can not find any answer to solve that problem on internet, but it happens to lot of people.
    Thank you.

    1. Try messing with the scaling settings on your GPU control panel

    2. You can also disable fullscreen on the launcher and instead use the old one by pressing Alt+Enter once the game has launched

  15. Hey, So, someone named Gameboyladd on stream noticed the game has bad audio mixing. If you could contact him so he can explain more in detail.

  16. This is probably going to sound a little cheesy but I'm so happy to see this game finished. I first played it in like 2014(???). My family just moved and I was going into high school so I didn't really have any friends. Money was also really tight so I spent a lot of time playing any free game I could find online. Anyways this game was like a godsend for me. The only pokemon game I played previously was a copy of leaf green that I stole from an old neighbor. I remember being shocked that there was swearing in a "kids" game. I spent that summer glued to my family laptop playing this game. I didn't get any of the references so as I grew up and played all the final fantasy games I remember being excited to hear the music that was from "that eevee fan game." I just thought to check up on it after all these years. I was worried that I had changed too much as a person or maybe it wouldn't hold up like I remembered it. I'm so glad to say, I appreciate all the work that's gone into this game. The flavor texts, the UI, the sprites, the music. Thanks for the memories. <3

  18. I've been having some trouble playing this after the update. It keeps telling me that certain things do not exist and then it resets to the menu. It'll do it for wild pokemon battles and say "The script tried to load a monster group that does not exist" or when I try to enter Mt. Atlas it says "The file area -mt atlas cannot be opened." It also does this on the Quest Log, like saying, "The file trop. sceptile cannot be opened." Do I need to redownload the game or something?
